Chris Christou's WeblogEveryone has a story -- What's yours? March 18 Thanks to Brad, I’ve moved…Thanks to Brad, I've moved... my blog!
My new Blog Location is http://christou.burgerfan.com/ .

With a rather quick and compelling reasoning, I am going to try to use WordPress to better manage and customize the content that is known as my blog. Also, since I have some web hosting of my own, I might as well use it. I hope to dig up posts from my old web site, as well as old travel emails, and place them in here to create a fuller back history of whetever it is I have been doing. Have a look around, and check back soon -- as I get time, I can start changing the presentation to that more fitting of a burgerfan. February 09 Mail a fartEver wish you could send a fart to somebody special? Why not do your part to keep postal workers busy by delivering packaged hilarity!
February 08 Two must-hear artistsI like to listen to BBC Radio 1 [ http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/ ] on my Satellite radio every now and then. And I have to say that I like a lot of the BritPop sound that I am hearing. Some of it is a refreshing change from the mainstream music that I like to listen to from this side of the planet. Lately there has been two singers that have caught my attention with really great sound. They have actually started to gain some airtime and attention here, which is promising, and reading other reviews show a potentially strong fanbase.
I instantly loved the Amy Winehouse song "You Know I'm No Good" the first time I heard it, in fact rewinding to hear it over again two more times. The rich deep voice and mysterious style of brass created the perfect feel-good moment.
The other singer, Lily Allen, has some catchy tunes to lay back and groove to. I recommend "Smile", "L.D.N.", and "Littlest Things". Actually, if you get a chance to watch, the music video for "Smile" is very funny.
I have not listened to the rest of the CDs, but I plan to buy them in the near future to check out, and you should too!
February 02 The Left Way Home is the right way homeI think that I have come to this realization before and forgot, but last night I rediscovered that I drive all the way home from work using only left-hand turns! January 08 Its a new year -- don't get back into a daily routineBack to work for another year. If I had any advice at the moment it is this: as you return from your holidays and get back to work, try not to get caught up in a daily routine. If time off work is a detox, the work-centric routine is the poison. While its important to focus for work and do your best in order to make a paycheque and afford to live, being too focused robs you of the ability to remember the smaller details, like taking the garbage out before leaving for work, or even just taking some time to wipe down the mirrors.
I'm sure that once I get hardened into a daily routine again, I will argue against this, but it is the healthier approach. Keeping the stress away results in better sleeps at night, and better mental capacity in the daytime. January 04 New Year, New TrackerSo its a new year, time for a new tracker. What should I track this year? I haven't tallied up the burgers from 2006 yet, but it has been fun running it for the year. Post your ideas in the comments! December 22 Merry Christmas!Last work day of the year wheee!!!!!
Two of my new favourite Christmas Music CDs involve remixed Christmas classics. They offer a refreshing spin on that which is engraved into your brain. Check out these two CDs:
